‘Tis the Season for Indoor Projects

December 10, 2024

As winter looms, we know many businesses are turning their attention to indoor projects. These cooler months are an ideal time to tackle important maintenance and improvement projects that enhance your facility’s functionality and brand image.

Here are some indoor projects to consider during the winter season:

A Fresh Coat of Paint

Painting is the most cost-effective form of maintenance and can completely revitalize an aging or dated building. High-traffic areas may need to be repainted as often as every one to two years. We suggest using neutral colors or tying into your brand color palette in a subtle manner.

Inspect Your Flooring

Winter is a great season to assess your flooring needs. Options include deep cleaning existing flooring or, if your flooring is worn, considering replacement with durable options that can withstand foot traffic.

Restrooms Need Attention, too

Examine tile work, fixtures, plumbing and check for ADA compliance. Consider installing new faucets and toilets to reduce water usage and demonstrate your brand’s commitment to sustainability.

Planning for the Future.

Start identifying and planning for larger exterior maintenance projects (think parking lots or lighting!) that can be implemented come spring. Contractors book-up quickly, so it’s best to start planning now!
