J&P Site Experts Supports Autism Awareness

Did you know that more children are diagnosed with autism than with cancer, cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy and Down syndrome combined?

As a founding sponsor of the second annual Autism Awareness 5K run/walk, J&P Site Experts has invested in spreading the word about the impact of autism, which costs affected families an average of $60,000 per year for care and therapy. 

Proceeds from this year’s Autism Awareness 5K — close to our headquarters in West Bend, Wis., on Saturday, April 16 — will enable local families to purchase items that improve their quality of life.

The event will be held at the Washington County Fair Park and Conference Center, 3000 Pleasant Valley Road. Sign up in advance at active.com or on race day in person starting at 9 a.m., with the race to follow at 10 a.m.
