J&P a Sponsor of Autism Awareness 5K Run/Walk May 4

J&P Site Experts is a proud sponsor of the fifth annual Autism Awareness 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 4, at Washington County Fair Park in West Bend, Wis.

On The Spectrum Inc., hosts this event, with all proceeds going toward grants for local families affected by autism. There will be a variety of free activities, including a petting zoo, face painting, bounce houses, a bake sale, a raffle and silent auction, and more.

April is Autism Awareness Month. Many people don’t know that more children are diagnosed with autism than with cancer, cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy and Down syndrome combined.

J&P is invested in spreading the word about the impact of autism, which costs affected families an average of $60,000 per year for care and therapy.
